To the trade unions or am i generalising ?
To the trade union am i generalisation?
I have cancelled my membership, as unfortunately under my circumstances found the union to be of not much help.
Incorrectly charged at the time of joining instead apprentice rate
Your union sends a letter about rate of pay As NHS payed me apprentice wage
at time £130 a week yet for someone of my age should have been paid minimum national wage
but your trade union rep differed on it as issue to raise in the complaint
To the point where previous employment at the NHS trade union person thought it un- useful to even put in a complaint 'as to what would it achieve?'
Even stranger when was ex managers didn't confirm time of exit interview almost to the last hour /day it self, the allocated trade union person wanted me to cancel it.
And has not even been in contact since exit interview to help write up complaint which was the only reason for the delay on my part,
Other than to 'say crikey' to the what I blogged of the "training provider Regent College"
To my astonishment well known for /to trade union person , for just that 'lack of training.'
So until my next unlikely employment, I will / may consider union again
as upholding of any mental health act
Is clearly hogwash
I do highly recommend for apprentices immediate cover.
rather than 4 week wait as that is plain un-useful.
As we are the only employee under probation period with immediate dismissal.
And working of fairer contract ie fix term employees have "flexi time" the apprentice contact does not.
I am left disgusted with NHS HUMAN RESOURCES who put me an apprentice on performance review, who also claim to have given me the wrong contract as it was fix term with no mention of terms or condition on probationary period. And expected me to sign another apparently correct contract.
Which was not only 'created' and 'modified' the what would have been dismissal day 5/1/2017 . Yet was last printed 2012.
Dodgy to say the least.
And unions hand tied simply because I wasn't a member for 4 weeks.
Ps and I started the apprenticeship with out yes you read right forget the correct DBLS should have been enhanced

In comparison say car insurance you get immediate cover
May be we should lobby job insurance cover in stead :p
I could quite literally go on with list wrongs that took place, but will save it for my for further blogs notes
