The Idiot Apprentice and Morag
The organisation talked of for here , from here on end will be known as the TRUST :p , having said that already named it in previous blog
The second member of Staff Who caused a lot of grief here, her 'work wear' really should include alarm bells
I do not need to choose a name for this individual She named herself Morag MacNab. Her usual expression is that of sour crabs.
A very competent staff yet one of the task set during the performance review period was getting / writing down the client telephone number (s) off the system, from the client code
She had printed off on a table Sheet With client code and full name.
The first half of the task for was to write number down. the table however didn't have sufficient space to write even one number down properly
Not only were two client given the same code, the third client and the next bit worded carefully the other was no longer the valid on the system.
Yet the real problem was second half of the task was to ring the client up with a query - there is no way I am ringing somebody who is not valid on the system
Strangely enough when i asked Morag about it she did remember Not valid on the system from two weeks ago, at the time the task was set less than a week ago.
The first half the task completed on time by me but I didn't keep it as proof why data protection act
This Morag assigned the task of writing a letter to a client, i even had it checked by another member of staff before giving it to her.
Not only did this bleep bleep print off my typed letter in larger font she printed it off the whole thing in bold italic, than compared it to her typed up letter than went on an on like a non stop battery.
Another within the contents of hand given letter was an email from Morag Macnab taken on the day of the an incident on 8th December. I was given one entirely typed filing The other sheet other than a type address on the left hand corner rest of it hand written.
Simply shoved it my hands with fully typed one on top with no further comments I made the genuine mistake of not reading it, stapling it together (pre or post that time never happened again) however I did not put in temporary filing folder ( which was previously storage box with loads of backdating filing to be done ) so i decided to ask are these two different clients why don't you just read and tell me yourself.true say
Yet on this occasion it wouldn't have killed you just to say two different clients while you shoved it in my hands either.
But the thing that bothers me most as it was letter it should have been given to me typed up to file and if it was naturally expected of me to type it. She could have told me the same time when told me to read it, to type it up as well but strangely didn't.
Even I could write whole list incidents here of social interaction with this particular staff ... But leave it for another blog. will most likely title it along line bullying in the work and how to document it.
But what was worrying here were two of her remarks
1. She would like keep her marbles when she is her mother age... Ok let's be fair minded /or as matron pointed paranoid, am reading to much into this one.
2. To reason best known to herself she decided to align A bunch of envelopes, maybe it makes it easier to put it back in the un-used envelope box. One unruly envelope stuck out. She giggle /lol and commented
" it really winding her up as she has ocd"
That was news to me
Did anybody else witness /over hear yes and from look on the face of that team member clearly horrified. but in a tight knit team and after the experience with HR
The trust policy in practice is useless.
